Trip Overview
Tirich Mir (7,708m) is the highest mountain of the Hindukush range. This spectacular 14-day trek takes you deep into the Chitral region, leading right up to the Upper Tirich Mir Glacier. The trek is a journey through time, passing through remote villages that have retained their ancient culture. The views of the icy peaks of the Hindukush from Babu Camp (the base camp) are nothing short of magical.

Trip Details
Graded as ‘Moderate’, the trekking distances are reasonable, but the altitude reaches up to 4,700m at Babu Camp. Trekkers should be prepared for rocky moraines and glacier crossings. The trek is ideal for those who have explored the Karakoram and are looking for something completely different in the Hindukush. Best season: June to September.
Important Notes

Terrain: The trail involves walking over loose scree and rocky glacial moraines. Stiff-soled, ankle-supporting trekking boots are highly recommended.

Permits: The Chitral region requires special trekking permits which will be arranged by our team, but passport copies must be provided well in advance.

Hydration: The air in the Hindukush is exceptionally dry. Drinking 3 to 4 liters of water daily is crucial.
